Froch has his number, Bute fears him it may take a few more rounds this time, but the same outcome,
    KO win for Froch.

    Ok cool replies!!
So what calibre does this put both fighters in?
Would froch do better against ward in a rematch?
How would froch deal with Kessler now?

Depends on what mind set, Froch has Ward can be hurt if Carl got to him he would finish him,
Ward is a bit like a young Hopkins, crafty and dirty styles make fights.
Froch does have trouble, with fighters that move he got to Bute anything can happen it's boxing,
Ward is good but no unbeatable.

Froch can't beat Ward. That idea is just silly.

It's too early to tell how Bute vs. Froch II will go. I want to see if Bute is gun shy in his fight on November 3, 2012. Did the fight with Froch completely shake his confidence? That kind of loss has the potential to ruin a fighter's mental break-up. For all we know, Bute might lose badly against the Russian he is facing and the rematch with Froch might not happen. Unlike Khan, after suffering a disastrous defeat, Bute is facing a lights-out puncher. On the other hand, Bute might learn from his defeat and come back stronger. He could perform much better in front of his fans in Canada too. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I expect him to demolish the Russian and then beat Froch in Canada, but I'll admit in all fairness that Froch should be heavily favored in the rematch.

Bute can't hurt Froch. Carl walked right through his best shots. The first fight I picked Froch by a 9th round KO. I'm sticking with that.

Good and fair post. I feel pretty much the same way. Bute was out of the fight before the bell rang and I said it before and will say it again, I as a long time fan could tell by his ring walk. Btw I also like Carl and think he has the mental edge. It will be crazy at the Bell Centre but the effects on Froch wont be the same as they were in Nottingham. In short Carl is a seasoned traveler and a kind of modern day Denny Moyer. Anybody, anywhere, anytime. I think it will be a much different fight if Bute uses the ring and does not voluntarily meet Carl in the phone booth. I think Bute can get the points win and with it a rubber match.

Having said that, I have no idea why team Bute have decided to fight at 175 when he will return to 168 for Froch.
