Default Salvador Sanchez vs Alexis Arguello , 15 rds @ 126

    Who wins h2h @ 126 , and also , who was gr8er ?

and how do u think a 130 lbs fight between them would have went like if both in their primes ?

I read that Sanchez was in talks of actually skipping 130 lbs and jump straight 2 135 lbs 2 fight Arguello there . How do u think that that would have been like ?

I think that skipping a weight class is rarely a good idea , but then Arguello may have been somewhat post a prime by then and Sanchez was a big 126 and had troubles making weight @ 126 .

Arguello would have never taken a step down in weight to fight Sanchez and why should he, Sanchez was a lightweight fighting at 126. They were actually in talks albeit preliminary to meet at 130 prior to that fateful morning and the collision with that chicken coup. That is a flip a coin kind of fight at 130 and most likely a Foty candidate.

The sad thing is you could say we never see Salvador Sanchez's prime.

It was meant d 126 lbs version of Arguello vs Sanchez , not d older 135lbs Arguello going down .

I believe that u did not mean that d scales were calibr8ed so Sanchez would b able 2 "make" 126 .

He really was a big/massive 126 , but it is still less than being big/massive @ 135 which is d meaning of d word "lightweight" .

Sanchez was tooo fast for Arguello... Sanchez would've made a meal of him.
