I want to get one and connect to the Internet. Any recommendations and do I have to go wireless? I prefer the direct cable but also want to stay connect to the computer, can you do both at the same time without wireless?
Can you get Saddo on it?

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Stick to your CRT
Its more your style you retarded cunt
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
the kids both have them but I do not
its basically apps and internet so you prob won't use it to be honest.
the kids just use it as a computer screen for their desktops... somthing to do with the DPI
but saying that if you have a samsung phone you will be able to airplay all your hidden porn movie files direct to your smart TV![]()
on another note I bought the Samsung 8000 early December
Voice controlled, motion controlled, 3D, host of apps. I used them once each as a gimmick. Not used them since - complete waste of time.
Took me ages to stream from my laptop and was inconsistent - can't beat the good old USB stick.
What I have used is the built in iplayer and skype functions - but thats it. Not worth it if you ask me

My old big fat TV which I have had for 12 years which has never caused me problems or broken down will not die and be replaced with the smart TV.![]()

Smart TV is pretty cool, I thought it would be a gimmick, but I've used it more than I thought. Got me an LG passive 3D TV a few weeks back (LG are the passive 3D kings)
Netflix is on there, as is Lovefilm, as is YouTube. Handy if you want to pay and watch a film on demand.
You can also control it using your smart phone which is cool, change channels, volume etc. Can use phone to control mouse cursor and type if you use it to surf the web. Can go on Saddo's on it, haven't tried the porn yet.
It also has Skype built in, so you can Skype through TV straight away.
For £500 now you can pick up something really decent.
I don't use the 3D much, but it is impressive when you sit and watch films, because we got a passive set glasses are free (when stolen from cinema) or about 50p each on eBay.
I have got plenty of those 3D glasses that we get from the cinema, so we can use them?
Paasive TV is opposite to smart TV?
What make and model would you recommend. I am looking for 37inch?

Passive is the type of 3D, there are two types, active and passive.
Active glasses are battery powered and work by using a shutter effect to open and close at a rapid speed. They cost about £40 each are quite heavy as they are battery powered.
Passive are the same as the ones in the cinema, so yeah you can just use those.
Active is better quality picture (I didn't think by much, but it technically should be twice as good), but the flickering can be eye straining.
Depends on how big your lounge is and how far you are sat from the screen. I'd want a minimum of 42 inches, just so it didn't need replacing for a good few years.
The main choice you need to make is size and 3D or not, after that its easy!
Just thought what is porn accidentally come on whilst the whole family were around watching the tv?
Also what if you were playing with yourself and the skype was on?

Has anyone put up a TV on a wall and is it easy to do. Scared the TV will fall and break and I will look like a prat.

I'm pretty sure you have to accept a Skype call before they can see you.
Porn should only come on when told to, to be safe, Internet history - DELETE!
