    Default Froch contemplating Steveson defence

That's a shame, I wonder what's happening with the Kessler fight.

I was a little surprised they hadn't announced the Kessler fight yet. I hope this fight doesn't happen as I'd rather see Carl take the big paydays. Fights like this are dangerous as at 35 Froch may not feel up for it after the letdown of not getting the Kessler fight.

Hopefully the Kessler fight gets signed.

Stevenson should just wait out the Kessler fight. He's kind of stupid not to. I mean I don't blame him as he has fought his way to the mandatory spot but if the IBF strips Froch then Stevenson would be fighting for he vacant belt and to me its a bit of an empty win.

Something off here though because what if Bute executed his rematch clause? Was the IBF going to look the other way to let that happen. These pricks don't want unification

If Froch does give up the belt I read that Stevenson will fight Oosthuizen for the vacant strap.

    Hence the term "paper champ"

Yeah he will be. I hope Froch can somehow keep his title and fight Kessler. We will see what happens in the next week.

Any reason why Kessler seems to be out of idea for now?

Beside, Stevenson is fast, strong and very agressive, that could be a very entertaining fight if that one would happen, that could be a slugfest to be talked about for a long time.

Adonis Stevenson looked the best I've ever seen him in beating one of my favorite fighters, Donovan George last time out.

He's fast, powerful and athletic. He could give Froch a run for his money, especially if Froch is looking past him.

I don't quite think Stevenson is in Froch's class, but he's def a more formidable foe than poor Yusaf Mack was.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
