Young guy like Danny Garcia is not who I would expect to have an injury this close to a fight.
Boxing is an injury prone sport. I hope it's not a chronic problem for him.

Interesting. For all the advances in training, technique, nutrition and superior skills it sure seems like fighters are bailing out at the last minute over this past decade. Why is that? These people are only fighting once or twice a year.

As my Uncle Reuben used to say when things didn't make sense. "It's a mystery". I don't know what they would do if they had to fight more than once a year.
