Ponce De Leon vs. Mares Clash on 4/20 on Showtime - Boxing News

Cracking fight. Could be another Mexican war for the ages. Mares is showing some brass balls taking this fight as his first at 126.

    I got Mares by decision...

I just feel that his youth and punch out-put will get him the decision.
I also see a lot of rough tactics being used by both guys as DPDL likes to lead with his head. Would not be surprised if there is a cut caused by a headbutt in the fight.

Nice fight. I'm surprised Espinoza went along with this since they train both guys and represent them through GBP.

    Refreshing.

Helluva fun fight. I had alot of doubts about Mares but after the Agbeko rematch I have to say that it's obvious the package is coming together, impossible to not see the ability. I was hoping for a Santa Cruz showdown but this is great. Daniel is the literal definition of a hard man. He's earned his place. My heart says De Leon but my head is yelling the fresher mobile Mares over 12.

Ponce De Leon better bring himself an Adamantium cup. That aside this will be a good fight. Mares broke my heart by beating Moreno but heck he's fighting against a guy who I believe beat Broner.

Good close fight and I'm not even gonna touch 'who's gonna win' with a six feet pole.
