Ali, with the stash and dyed hair, sounds amazingly good in 1980, prior to the Holmes fight, Parkinson's syndrome( Pugilistic dementia) is progressive. At this point Ali was already taking medication, which made him seem more normal and/or coherent, but it was a time bomb ticking.

He should have called it quits after the last fight with Frazier, but it may have already been too late.

I'm glad we still have Ali around, even in his present condition, he was one of a kind, I hope he lives to be 90, and fools us all again.
