One of the guitar players died of liver failure. He had also been suffering from a skin disease- a flesh eating disorder supposedly from a spider bite.

Gee what a crap way to go. RIP>
I had a friend, 13 or 14 years ago, and he got bit by a spider and it got infected and started eating the flesh off his left hand. To the bone in places along his fingers. And I know from personal experience that the right infection, for long enough, will play hell with your organs.
I read the other day...Was he a rugby or a soccer player, that was carrying a snake off the field. It bit him and he died. You guys have some ultra-toxic stuff there.
Im missed that one must look it up.
We got the worse snake in the world here The Taipan, but its way up in northern Queensland mostly and not down here at all thank God. long thin fast, you got minutes to live if it hasnt bit anything else just before you that day, they also give chase and are fast angry fuckers.

Snakes are beautiful and misunderstood creatures. They are shy and timid animals who only attack if they feel they are threatened. They belong here as much as we do.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Was sad to hear of Jeff's passing. Saw Slayer a few times the last was in Poland as part of the Big 4 show. A vastly underrated writer and guitarist . Kerry King tends to get all the plaudits but the vast bulk of the best and most iconic Slayer material is Jeff's. RIP
On further reflection, it appears that a spider bite did not cause his death. It was, in fact, more 'rock n roll' than that...alcohol.
