Avenging your loss..how important is it?
No offense to khan, but reports shows he will move up in weight and fight devon alexander rather than rematch garcia, peterson (prescott might not have achieved as much as khan but he did still ko khan).
Khan will then probably get the mayweather fight early 2014.
What is everyones thoughts on current and past fighters who avenge their losses or completely ignore them?

It depends when it happened. I always thought Khan should of tried to avenge his loses. But I never held it against Bernard Hopkins for not avenging his loss to Clinton Mitchell

By all accounts, Khan wants the winner of the tournament, and I think he wants Garcia most since he never shuts up about it. I hear that Garcia doesn't want it though, or more, Angel doesn't want it as they're upset that Khan is the grand prize for the winner of the tournament when he lost to 2 of the participants.
Golden Boy have told him there isn't much they can do if Garcia rejects it, so Khan is talking up an Alexander fight instead. It is a winnable fight, and if he was to beat Alexander he'd be a 2 weight world champion with a lucrative mandatory fight in Kell Brook.

Was always a step backwards for khan to fight Prescott again.
He should fight garciaand Peterson.

Backwards step or not, the majority of fighters would want revenge after a viscious knockout like that.
If khan had rematched prescott and beat him he might have had a comfidence that would have got him alot further than he is now.

The only big name I believe is worth Khan beating is Floyd, because Floyd ain't a big puncher, and khan has faster hands. I say this because Khan ain't got a chance against anyone who hits harder, mattyse, garcia.... The list goes on.
Khans the only person who could out point PBF because of said hand speed, but of course Floyd in his prime takes it all day, but now... Maybe not.

I think it's a huge thing to avenge your losses. Lennox Lewis is the best example... right now he's considered to be at least top 10 of all time, and often shows up in top 5 ATG hw lists (including my own). He got KTFO by McCall and Rahman, went back at them and brutalized them both. When you do that, the fans can say "well the first was a fluke".
An unavenged loss will always be a black hole on your resume! ESPECIALLY in Khan's case where Prescott starched him like a bum in 30 seconds.
