Who do you most want to see Carl in next with?
I think I've covered his options based on what is on offer to him.

It won't happen, but a fight with Groves would be interesting in the UK at least.
A fight with Ward seems pretty pointless to me no matter where they hold it. Ward is in a different class and has already beaten Froch very convincingly. Froch did well tonight, but anyone who thinks he could give Ward a serious fight is getting carried away.
To be honest I'd love to see him fight Kessler again on neutral ground, perhaps in the US.
Froch is 35 and needs big pay days now. Bernard Hopkins would bring him a ton of money.
Hopkins/Froch would be pretty cool.
Fight Ward in the UK, but not in the US.
Otherwise, fight Chad Dawson.
Beating old Hopkins would do nothing for Froch's legacy, but Hopkins beating Froch would add to B-Hop's legacy. So it's better for Froch to pass on a B-Hop fight.
At this point in Carls career Hopkins is the dumbest choice he could make both as a business move and a boxing move. He does not need Hopkins, beating him means dick and there is not a truckload of money in it. Froch talked about a catch weight fight after tonight and I just don't see the reason for it.
Rematch Ward. Its the biggest fight in the division and Carl even offered to fight him in Denmark.
I would like Froch to fight Ward in a rematch at some point, but while it is there, I'd love a 3rd fight with Kessler. That was great to watch tonight, and boxing needs more quality fights like this.
Please let it not be Hopkins. I have to say, Kessler looked damn good losing. I hate when the announcers say the loser had a lot of heart but in this case it is true. I will definitely research that one.
I don't think a win over Hopkins is to be tossed into the trash, and I don't think Froch win is totally out of the question. He may be fit for a museum but hes not dead. Hell, do as Joe did. If he says he'll go to Froch in his hometown and its already in the wind...theres your money! Without a doubt. I do think he needs to go after Ward though...he pointed out he revenged Kessler and now has Ward. I don't fancy his chances and unless he travels again it'll be bogged down in negotiations. Ward is smug and on record has the upper hand, therefore he'll prob go with Kessler 3 or Hopkins, at least first.

how about this guy against Froch. He deserves a shot
Thomas Oosthuizen - Boxer
Thomas Oosthuizen
Ward- not sure Carl will be able to beat him wherever they fight but he isnt going to get any better so he has to try and avenge that defeat sooner rather than later
As stated above, Froch has nothing to gain fighting Hopkins. If he beat Hopkins, people would say he beat a 48 year old man and only Hopkins would have something to gain out of the fight.
I think a rematch with Ward is the best option for him. He avenged one defeat last night, why not try and avenge the other, although I think Ward would beat him, in fact, Ward beats Froch 10 times out of 10.
Hopkins. Can come to England, play the pantomime bad guy and get people interested in watching the fightOutside of hardcore fans who'll be watching anyway the target market - potential Sky PPV customers - won't be too familiar with Hopkins so his potential for spoiling/boring people to death won't count too much against him. He's definitely in the running.
Kessler. If he doesn't retire he could fight Stieglitz next, get a win and a belt again then rematch Froch for a final huge payday. If it happens I think Froch stops him late. I don't think an immediate trilogy fight would sell well. If Froch fights say Ward or Hopkins next even if he loses to Ward the trilogy fight is still viable and if Kessler has a belt and is coming off a win it helps sell the fight a lot. But will Sauerland want to give up the WBO belt when they can have a moneyspinning Stieglitz-Abraham trilogy fight and still control the winner?
Ward will come over and fight provided he gets paid what he feels is right. I'm pretty sure Kessler got 55 or 60% of the split for last night's fight. Ward would want the same kind of deal. I think Froch would put up a better performance than last time but still lose and he knows it. It's a massive money fight again for Froch though, potential Sky PPV punters won't have seen much of Ward outside highlight clips (on which everybody looks good) and will be sold on him being a pound for pound top two or three guy and Froch saying he'll get revenge.
Last night was a successful return to PPV for Sky. They won't want their next PPV fight to be a dud so they can keep doing them. That'll have a lot of bearing on who Froch fights next as it's Sky who are bringing the money for these fights, not casinos or US TV. I think they'd like Ward followed by Kessler but hey, Ward might not get offered what he wants and Kessler might retire. But I'm pretty sure that's what Sky would like to show.
It's just a shame there aren't better options for Sky/Froch than two of the worst fighters to sell/watch in Hopkins/Ward. But it'll be Ward, Hopkins or Kessler next for Froch. Definitely a big PPVable name, Froch is only going to want big money fights for as long as he has left.
