Default Khan to fight Alexander ?

Do you think after his wedding that Khan will return in December and fight Alexander at Welter?

Team Alexander: We Look Forward To Khan's Chin Check - Boxing News

I think that Alexander is tailor made for Khan. He may be able to box but he does not have the speed to beat Amir. Now that the Mayweather fight is not next I can see it happening. It will also give khan something to crow to Brook about. Brook would beat either but unless he does a number on Jones he is going to lose momentum.

This would make a good matchup. It may very well decide Khans future in boxing. He needs to either win or make a showing strong enough to make this worthy of a rematch. I would lean towards AlExander on this. The guy is classy. My opinion may be jaded by the fact I don't like Khan. I don't know how he ended up with a fan base. Even after saying that I do hope he has a good showing. What fun would boxing be if you liked all the boxers.

Anyone notice how Alexander's team seem to be full of complete dicks who make stupid media quotes? When you hear Devon speak, he comes across as a fairly humble guy, but guys like Cunningham say some stupid things.

I think Khan just outboxes him. Alexander is nothing special but Khan's chin is always a question mark. I think Khan will tuck up and take the win on the cards and will likely get Mayweather should he beat Alvarez.

Disagree, Alexander is very good, Khan on the other hand is so so easy to hit, particularly over 12 rounds. People say Alexander cant hit but he has more then enough to hurt Khan and has the ability to land. If the price was big enough id back Devon by KO

I'm going with Khan on this one. I really can't explain why with Khan weak chin and weak legs. But, I'll be betting on Khan.
If Alexander want to win, he will have to do it by KO. Khan is shaping up to be the next in line to Floyd. OVERSEAS!!!!

I don't know, I just don't see it. Khans last couple of fights have put him on the verge of irrelevance. If he does win this fight I think he should have to do more to make a fight with Floyd interesting to watch

I think the question we all need to ask is whether devon will perform better than khans last opponent who was 8 years past his prime.

If the answer is yes, then devon will win with possibly a ko at a weight he is now comfortable.

Tough fight to call because of we dont know how their styles will play out. Khans trainer has seemed to turn khan into a runner cuz he has no confidence in his chin so khan is stuck between styles and you can tell from his boxing he doesn't seem to know what he's doing.

Devons always got the job done apart from the Bradley fight. Khan may hold an edge in heart but im not sure what else. Devons quick and classy so hed probably start as favourite.

If the best Amir can do these days is getting off the floor to get a hometown decision over a semi retired light weight with more ko losses than Audley harisson then its a good indicator that Khan isnt what hes made out to be. If thats true the question is does devon stop him or does khan last the distance

I don't see how anyone could pick Khan with any confidence after his last couple of fights. Alexander may be a little suspect, but he's a pretty capable counter puncher and a far cry from Julio Diaz.

I have taken such a dislike to Alexander after his fight against Baily that I hope Khan wins.

I think Khan could beat Paulie and Alexander but could not live with Floyd.

Khan v Manny, JMM or Bradley would be very interesting.

I was really looking forward to Alexander/Brook. I think Special K pulled a little Povetkin there. Its interesting because both Khan and Brook make the same mistakes and you would think at this level it would be second nature not to make them as consistently as they both do. Both guys step straight back with their lead hand down and their chin in the air. Devon will caah in on that. Perhaps Khan grows a tougher beard like Cotto seemed to.

They should make Khan/Brook. Its a natural and a huge money fight domestically.

I heard this is gonna happen in Dubai ;-)

Khan will get massive support in a Muslim county packed full of Brits too.

They'll build a huge air con dome for this if true... As there's not really an indoor arena I can think of to hold it..

This will be huge out their if it does happen in sandpit..!!

Age means nothing. Khan has passed his prime.
Khan is a Nice guy but avoiding big punchers is a disgrace and he will learn nothing by ducking garcia.
