Default My view on what Golden Boy plans for broner

Ok, so were all smart guys here, and we have noticed that Broner is not all he was cut out to be. Now, to be honest guys like Al Haymon and golden boy are much smarter when it comes to the boxing biz than we are. So let me give you my take on them blowing him up.

They saw the obvious power of the villain with Floyd Mayweather, people pay to see him lose, unfortunately, Floyd is not gonna lose. So What i think they're doing with all this hype around him is creating the next villain only for the sole purpose of building the next star off of his name by having "that guy" beat Broner, and create a new golden boy type guy for boxing thats adored. Who that guy is, i dont know, maybe Mathysse cuz Schahfer did claim he is the next pacqiou, but i dont see Mathysse having star power or longevity. Now it could be that they are just that stupid and think hell make them money, but i doubt it, what do you guys think?

The thing is that Broner is so flat footed that if Paulie had pop in his punches the fight would have been so different. I dont see him as unstoppable, I don't see flawless technique. Hell PDL kicked his butt.

Makes me sad, if Emmanual Augustus had Al Haymon as an advisor that dude woulda been a great champ.

which im sure they noticed that too, so there either jucing him for everything while it lasts or there setting him up for a big beatdown to create the next star.

I see your logic and quite frankly it's refreshing after all the idiots posting about Broner.

I agree with Davila, he was made to look average against Paulie so they need to rethink their opponents.

Anybody that is quick with an average to powerful punch like Khan, Floyd, Pacquiao will quite simply walk through Broner, based on his Paulie fight.
    You say tomato,
    ‘n I say …… it correctly.

I agree, Broner has speed and power but thats not all that makes a great boxer, i wouldn't mind seeing him fight Khan, i think when Khan is met with a challenge he seems to fight better , and although we dont know how well pacman is doing, i still think hes a bit to much for Broner

Agreed. The hype around Broner is fucking ridiculous.

Wow, after the Paulie fight I was scratching my head about Broner. He proved two things during the fight, one that he is a good fighter but nowhere near the hype and two that he is even more of an ass than many of us thought. When I read this theory it makes sense. If it is true you would think he needs a few fights in which he is impressive. This Paulie fight did nothing to create much buzz about his skills. He won't be able to fight the little known fighters if he wants to remain in the spot light. If he is being set up to fail it is going to be entertaining. If he knows about it he is ten times smarter than I thought he is.

the demise of Broner will be an interesting thing to witness, i wonder if it will be as painful as seeing Victor Ortiz say he is to young to take those kind of punchesafter getting beat by maidana
