Default Mexican Giovani Segura destroys Puerto Rican Jonathan Gonzalez

Expected outcome. Gonzalez was in over his head. Looks like Calderon taught him well

He sure was. It's a shame too. I actually liked Gonzalez. Though he had the skills to win a title. But I don't see that happening any more. I doubt he gets over this annihilation

It will be hard but he's young to overcome it. Hopefully he takes this as a learning experience and comes back stronger and better. He showed get courage in taking the fight this early in his life.

It's easy to confuse courage with stupidity. This wasn't courage. This was stupidity. Not sure who the bigger idiot is. Gonzalez for thinking he could beat Segura or Gonzalez's people for making the fight. At 22 with only 14 fights he had no business being in the ring with Segura. He had never beaten a D level fighter. What the fuck made them think he could beat a former pound for pound fighter like Segura? Not only was he not ready he wasn't even close to being ready. And after the beating he took, I doubt he ever will be. There was no courage shown here. Just great stupidity.
