Every movie he gets a lead role in is shit, he has a ton of fans and many think he looks the part, if you give him a co star that is just as popular the movie is decent but by himself its a letdown.

I really liked The Scorpion King, but I like tongue-in-cheek sword and sorcery shows, like Highlander: the Series, Xena: Warrior Princess, The Beastmaster, A Knight's Tale, Steve Reeves as Hercules.
I saw promos for The Rock's other films and wasn't interested...
I'm a fan though, at least when he does pro wrestling.

He's not a great actor to be fair, I went to watch his new film Pain and Gain (wladimir klitschko has a 2 second cameo in it) and it was a pretty average film but the role he played suited him down to the ground. Kinda macho man with a bit of irony and also a cocaine addict.
