Really? I would've thought maybe a rematch with Matthysse, or another 1 or 2 fights to leave no doubt at 140. Then a move up to 147. Is Garcia having trouble making the weight or something?
I mean granted.... he gained a whole lot of new respect from me with his tremendous showing in last night's fight.
Don't know brother. Everybody else has already moved up. Maybe he fights the winner of Bradley/Marquez first. 140 is running a little dry.

To bad Floyd couldn't drop to 140 and attempt to hold 3 titles at once like Armstrong did. I think Garcia should take 1 more bout at 147 if that is indeed the route he wants to go. Malignaggi would be a decent test in preparing to fight the p4p king.
he's right there isn't anything left at 140 other than maybe a rematch with Matthysse (I don't see the need for one other than it was a fun fight) or the winner of Alvarado/Provodnikov
another good matchup that came to me yesterday that could actually be a surprisingly good fight would be Khan Vs Broner at 147, it's a win win for me, cause whoever loses will put a smile on my face but honestly their styles would probably mesh well and make an entertaining fight
back to Garcia, he has options at 147, there's the Bradley/Marquez winner, Berto, Guerrero, Ortiz, Broner/Maidana winner, Khan rematch, Pacquiao/Rios winner, Alexander, Brook, Thurman, Porter who just won this weekend against Julio Diaz in a rematch, Karass, Cano, and even Malignaggi, welterweight is starting to get the deepest it's been in a while, good fights to be made
Garcia vs Broner. Fun fight!
I thought Khan wanted a rematch at lightwelterweight to prove he is the best at the weight.
