    Default Hopkins/ Mayweather - quote

    Steve Bunce on ESPN

"It's not about the weight with Floyd," said Bernard Hopkins, who fought for a decade inside the middleweight limit of 160lbs and is now IBF champion at light heavyweight. "It's not about power, it's about skill and there are people out there: I'm out there. I can do 160 again, so let's see what happens." Hopkins, by the way, turns 49 early next year.

If Hopkins makes 160#, Mayweather and Hopkins make the PPV. I'd pay for that fight , no problem!

Hell Hopkins has as much chance as anybody at beating Floyd.

    I'd buy it.

I think Floyd wouldn't want to take a chance at a nasty head butt

I'm a huge Hopkins fan but come on let's be real. 160? Mayweather woke up the day of the fight at 146. Under the welterweight limit.. 160? thats 14 pounds above his natural weight. There's weight classes for a reason. At that weight I rather have him fight Ward or Martinez.

Nonetheless good post, I'm a little shock Hopkins said that lol.. I thought him and Floyd were cool.
