Most fighters don't put in half that effort. Much less 40 year olds. That's why he stays on top

There's nothing questionable about his physique. Hard work and dedication
    That's all it is.

I don't see anything remotely questionable there.

    Marquez against Mayweather.

At the weigh-in for his last fight.

Move along, there's nothing to see here. It's all down to lots of hard work in the gym.

Hugh Mcilvanney is a much better writer on boxing than Hauser. Hausers Ali book is great if a little sycophantic but for me Hugh is better.

Marquez looks ripped because he has a conditioning coach who knows how to help him realise his potential. His head looks the same.

He looks about the same as he did before his last fight. Definitely think Bradley is in for a beating in this one, should be fun while it lasts.

It's difficult to say whether Marquez's new-found physique is due to a strength and conditioning coach or a drug regimen. There's no doubt his physique looks entirely different than it was before his last fight. Either way he should have signed up for every test-taking service out there. Fact that he has a problem with doing so is suspicious.

No one should duck a drug test if they have nothing to hide.

Floyd was right for bringing this stuff in.

Marquez's weight has barely moved up at the weigh in or fight night. He based his entire training after the second Manny fight on power and strength and put the time in pumping iron and putting in as much time in that process as we do with our 9 to 5's. Of course the results are going to be dramatic. If Marquez was cycling growth hormones all this time he'd be having trouble making 147 not weighing in a pound heavier since their last fight. He weighed in at 143 for the 4th fight.

His refusal or failure to comply with Bradleys contract is not proof that he's juicing. Either institute random testing or everybody is freakin guilty. Tim also that walking candy apple and even Floyd. Random tests are no guarantee. Track stars have been beating these things for half a century.

Floyd gets massive credit for being the first to force the issue or at least make it a big issue.

However, Floyd doesn't demand it for his team (two have tested positive) and he hasn't helped commissions do it or furthered the cause on a national level. Floyd doesn't test 24/7/365 either. He only tests prior to fights and he doesn't use VADA, only USADA, which doesn't do carbon isotope testing to the same level as VADA.
