What did you think about Anthony Joshua's first pro fight? What did he do well, and what does he need to work on?

Physically he looks great but its impossible to tell from a first pro fight. I wasn't too convinced about him in the Olympics so we'll only know for sure when he steps up a few levels
Excuse my spelling Hidden Content
He faced an unbeaten fighter on debut so using @ross logic he's better than Wlad Vitali Haye Wilder and Fury![]()
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Tell you what I'd love to see Hughie Fury vs Joshua at some point.
Looked in good shape, chin held a bit high very good 1st outing.
I thought he looked terrific. He's the new David Price. Fact.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I also wasn't impressed at the olympics, and was looking forward to his first pro fight. The build up etc fair game, and allegedly the opponent was 8-0. I'm not sure I've seen anybody as flabby and unfit as the 8-0 merchant. Would rather have seen him against the usual genuine workhorses to get a feel for how he's adapted to being a pro - jury still out.
Of course the jury is still out, it's his first pro fight for fucks sake! Of course they picked an opponent who wasn't going to win, but who wouldn't fold the first time he got hit. D'uh.
I thought Joshua looked ok. He was quite different to his last few amateur bouts, especially physically .... He was a lot bigger and he had obviously been bulking up. I thought his legs were always too small when he was an amateur (both for proper punching and for absorbing a shot) but he'd obviously worked on them.
I thought he was a bit brunoesque ..... Muscle bound guy, whacked out some overmatched guy. He didn't have Bruno's amazing power, but he had much more boxing skill and patience.
Good start, good boxer, good power, good finisher - I'm interested in seeing his stamina and chin over his next twenty fights. It'll be fun to watch
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
He looked the goods. Yes he could turn out out to be the new David price or Bruno cuz he seems a little muscle bound as if he would gas after a few rounds. I'd prefer him to get a more athletic body type and loosen up but impressive debut. Fast hands, killer instinct and I'd be shocked if he went audleys way
The cuban beat him.
He's already gettin hyped up to much, but for a lad who only started boxing 3 or 4 years ago he hasn't done bad for himself , we won't really find out how good he is until his 15th or so fight
My thoughts are he is raw as fuck - but understandably so.
How much his chin sticks out shows he is a young guy with not lots of experience of being hit on the chin by big punchers without a head guard on.
But the fact is he first put gloves on 5 years ago. He should be thinking about an ABA title never mind an Olympic Champion turned pro. So he is entitled to plenty of time and to be brought on slow.
He does have the touch of Bruno about him though![]()
