Kovalev p4p has more one-punch KO power for sure.

But when you take into account everything: power, accuracy, timing of use, versitility, how well it's used in combinations, I think you have to go with Wlad by a country mile. Wlad has spent 17 years just murdering guys with that sledgehammer straight right.

Wlad's right hand is more proven and I give credit for its longevity as beans mentioned, but kovalevs right is fuckin scary because he throws them with an intent to kill unlike wlad..

Kovalev is one of those few guys in boxing who has massive power in his jab.. I bet he could knock out a china chinned prick with his jab..

This guy is very heavy handed.. that straight right, jab combination on silkakg was insane..his head snapped back twice on his way down lol

Kovalev scares the shit out of me, I think he's more lethal but as an all round boxer thats the only weapon I've seen him use whilst Wlad has a tonne of tricks.

We are talking about punching power here and Kovalev has devastating one punch KO power. Wald has excellent power too, but he wears them down or lulls them to sleep and then KOs them, whereas Kovalev starts bulldozing from the first second.
Wald's approach is tried and true, and I'm not complaining about it, but Kovalev's is so much more fun to watch, and more merciful. Haha!

wlad can jab, hold, hug, jab, clinch, jab and hold

he is also good at leaning and holding on to his opponent

he also throws a straight right hand once or twice a fight, just after and before he holds on

Murdering overweight plodding heavyweights though. Not his fault nobody else is in shape, but i think it's hard to compare him with fighters from other weight divisions where all the top ranked fighters are in a condition to fight.
