Which country consume the most alcohol?

I looked up a recently study and Britain/Ireland were high on the list.. and on the asian side, South Korea were on top, being labeled as the Ireland of East asia.. we have some real men in these countries..

As a half Korean guy , I can tell you that drinking is a huge part of our culture.. we drink when are sad, happy, drink with breakfast, brunch, lunch and especially at nights.. in our society, a man must know how to drink or else he's considered as a pussy and will be outcasted by friends and co workers.

There are drinking etiquette as well.. when drinking with somebody older, u must hold the glass with two hands and drink with your head turned to the side... and if your boss were to offer u a drink, u must take it and down it one shot or else you are out...

That's something I miss about korea. The nightlife is crazy and bars open 24 hrs..

You serious? Koreans generally speaking are lovely, but they cannot drink.

They love to buy a beer, or even a bottle of whisky, but within a drink everyone has Indian face redness, and by the end of the third, half the table is slumped having passed out. Koreans do this with the luxury of seats, which people in England generally don't have.

Koreans are such lightweights that you don't even have to worry about them running away and not paying the bill. You just pay at the end as there will be some of the posse remaining.

Korea has a lot of nightlife, but mainly because of horribly shady businessmen who were forced into marriage by family and need to avoid such company and 'Anma' (prostitutes) are their only outlets. There are a lot of prostitutes which is the norm, but sadly so considering that the only reason for it being so is a terrible society for women. Women are having their revenge, they are refusing to marry these heavy, chundering jawed monoliths and Korea will die through lack of breeding. They are smart.

I think the Aussies won on beer consumption last year but it was nationally and not on a per capita basis. If it was we Canucks would be finalists. Outside of their micro brews, the Americans don't know what beer is so they are eliminated by default

I actually thought Germany would run away with the beer title.

Thinking about it..tracking National consumption can be misleading based on sales. I can't tell you how many micro brews and homemade jobs are around locally. For Christmas I received 6 bottles of 100 proof "Gris Gris juice" that drinks like apple pie and leaves you looking for your clothes on your neighbors roof top(s) at 3am. So I've heard.
