That guy took Chisora 9 rounds as well, I remember that fight. He should give Joshua rounds for sure.
If Joshua can hold a shot , then he could go far he has a nice neat boxing style to go with his power.
Yeah hes a good guy for boxing and I wish him well, I wouldn't mind him fighting Richard Towers in the not too distant future. Somebody whos bigger than him, can punch and can get involved in a fight. I think that would be a good test for Joshua in the not too distant future.
The only thing I think that will maybe hold Hughie back is being in the same camps as Tyson. Id be worried he may get in to that mindset of a sparring partner. Hes very quiet and seems subdued in all the interviews hes done. Big contrast to Tyson who brims with confidence and has a big personality. Hughie also doesnt seem to have Tysons spite.
He does look as though he has the better chin than Tyson. He won a gold at the world junior championships, so has fought world class punchers and has never been hurt or down so far. Joshua was dropped a few times and beaten by Dillian Whyte, in Whytes first amateur bout.
It may benefit Hughie, not to spar with Tyson in future, or at least not as much as they do. He needs to be his own man now so he can progress.
We are talking about Tony Joshua right?
