DeGale does not deserve shit, he hasn't done anything to suggest he could win or even compete at world level.

He's still fighting unknowns with blown up records and the one time he stepped up he was beaten.

He needs to fight a decent ranked fighter.

Just to clarify I agree that DeGale doesn't look a world beater but there are 3 belt holders. Bika, Froch and Abraham.

Ward is the best in the div and prob has no real interest fighting for a belt and just wants a big money fight. Prob the winner of Froch v Gorves.

Abraham. Well past his best. Decent performance at the weekend against Stieglitz who was a very average champion. Are u suggesting DeGale wouldn't be competitive against these guys? Who else deserves a shot more? Periban who didn't want to fight DeGale? Jack who just got KTFO in one? Gonzales or Oosthuizen who are both pretty shit and Oosthuizen couldn't even make weight for his last scheduled fight? Callum Smith - a 9 pro fight novice?

Chavez deserves a shot for beating Vera in his 1st fight at 168?

DeGale gets a lot of hate because he's an arrogant cunt but to suggest he isn't as good as most of the guys in the division is just stupid. It's a really weak division at the moment.
