I had forgotten about this fight. As perfect a left hook as you'll ever see ends it in the first round.

Butler did a lot for having no amateur background n starting late as I remember them saying.

He packed a punch n got bone crusher too i think.

He had some drug problems and his record was spotty. Then he got with Goosen, got clean and won 22 or 23 in a row, I think. Then he relapsed and it all fell apart for him.

Tubbs was on a solid run. Pretty much out boxed and out hustled Bowe just prior and dropped Taylor 8 damn times for tko.
Shit...forgot he wobbled Butler prior to the axe coming.

I forgot about that, too. When he fought taylor and dropped him a dozen times. That guy- taylor- was 14-0 I think.

The Bowe fight was close n Tubbs boxed well but I felt Bowe won.
