Default How shocked would you be if Floyd gets KTFO?

I would not be shocked. Everybody gets KTFO sooner or later (except Rocky Marciano)---Lennox, Tyson, Foreman, Liston, Joe Louis, Walcott, Larry Holmes, Joe Frazier, everybody gets knocked out sooner or later. I will not be surprised. Somebody always has somebody's number. Maidana just mnay have that unorthodox chopping overhand right at the correct angle to catch Floyd on the side of the head and knock him cold.

    O God, let us pray!!!

Not as shocked as when Roy was sparked. Floyd is 37 years old, you never know when his body will fail him but it will fail him. Father time is undefeated.

Very shocked as Floyd is showing no sign of slowing down but here is hoping that before he retires he gets KTFO.

I would just be pleasantly surprised and happy..

I would figure that floyd took him lightly.. shit, if I was floyd, it would be real hard to get up for this fight and subconsciously, I wouldnt train full throttle.. how can he? It's fuckin bumdana.

Marciano was a bum, fighting bums in a bum era of heavyweight boxing.

Any fringe HW would kill him today.

I think Maidana is going to hurt Floyd... he's more lubricious and more aggressive than Canelo was/is.

Sure, Canelo knew how to bang... but he tried to box... Maidana isn't coming to box, or try to think he can box... he's coming to bang and fight. Kinda like Ortiz did before he got stupid.

It's a shame that the biggest challenge Floyd has faced in the last three years was Victor Ortiz. lololol.....

ummm he took on Cotto, Guerrero, and Canelo, back to back, not a bad who's who of names, and Cotto is a WAY bigger threat than Ortiz, sad that Pacquiao took on Rios who should already had a loss to friggin Abril at 135 and who has shown time and time again that the only thing that is exceptional about him is his chin

An ideal chin is a chin that doesn't cost you fights or points. So yes, he has an ideal chin.

No kidding. Ortiz is literally the softest spot on Floyd's resume in 5 years unless his ratings are more fucked than the WBC's.

I'm talking about fight activity. It's no secret that Cotto slowed down a bit, and when he did put on some urgency in the fight with Mayweather, he won those moments and a round or two- for what it's worth.

Guerrero isn't a big puncher. He is not a puncher at all. Canelo is a puncher, but as said Canelo committed to box rather than fight- Maidana won't be that stupid to come in with that strategy. He never has.

Ortiz has been Floyd's most active and busy fighter in the last few years.... not that he would have beaten Mayweather, but it proved to show me something as to why Mayweather ducked Manny- PUNCH OUTPUT AND PACE OF THE FIGHT. That with hand speed, Floyd can't cope.

Take a look at Floyd's fights with Judah, Mosely (early rounds), Emanuel Agustus, Castillo 1 and Ortiz. The guys that had the most success against Floyd, for what it's worth (guys that at least got punches in and either cut or scratched Mayweather) have been guys with huge punch outputs.

If Maidana commits to 60 punches and up a round, and make, at least, 20 to 30 of them power punches- hit or miss- he has a chance at winning a few rounds.

Problem is Maidana is not a true 1 punch KO artist at 147.

He's also quite slow and open.

He is awkwardly clever, relentless, tough as hell and quite confident though.

He ll bring it at least n have a 10% chance I'd say.

Shocked. Especially by Maidana. If it was GGG, then I wouldn't be shocked, but anyone else 160 and down would shock me. When PAC was in his prime, that wouldn't have shocked me, but now it would. I would say a Maidana stoppage is equal to the Buster Douglas stoppage of Mike Tyson.

I'm just gonna say this. I never thought that Roy Jones would ever be taken to the wood shed like he had happen to him, even in his decline. It's always a possibility.
