Probably a good spot to mention here how good a job Wlad's team have done promoting the Leapai fight over here in Australia too. Whatever ppl may say about the opponent, Wlad has called it how it was, a long shot, by labelling him the real Rocky, but at the same time paying the man a massive compliment and treating his opponent with respect.

In that wisdom which the news has broadcast everywhere, now a whole country look up to the man like a great champion and want to see the fairytale outcome of the fight. And if it doesn't come, they'll still remember the opportunity he gave with respect.

Pretty smartly played! That is class!

Floyd is the opposite, he always disrespects other boxers.

This week, he said Bradley and Pacquiao fought like "amateurs". But I enjoyed watching that fight more than any Floyd Mayweather fight.

Since there is no consensus on the best definition of the term "class" and it has many contextual meanings I'll follow the etymology to it's beginnings.

It's from the latin classis which was a term used by census takers to categorize citizens according to wealth to determine military obligations.

So that considered Floyd is classier because he is wealthier.

Or was this just a thread to express that Floyd is a bad person for the....I couldn't even hazard a guess how many times it's been said.

Wlad hasnt put a foot wrong in the way he carries himself outside the ring but his WWE antics in the ring are not attractive.

Floyd has done many silly things outside of the ring but inside the ring he is a perfect all rounder.

Wlad cant change his style in the ring.
Floyd wont change his style in the ring.

Wlad is the same outside of the ring but floyd is getting better and less arrogant outside of the ring..(sort of!)

Wlad's an absolute gentlemen and managed to convert me against David Haye because of the class he held himself with in the build up to their fight. In the ring his hugging style isn't a great represntation for boxing but substance over style, so I'd go from Wlad ahead of Floyd.

If we're talking about class, style and being a good, healthy role model- both Klits are head and shoulders above everyone else.

Mayweather, on the other hand, is no role model. His greatest claim to fame is his maddening work ethic... which is, by far, the greatest training regimen to have ever existed in boxing aside from the regimen of Hagler and Tyson- in fact, a little bit above Tyson's work out regimen.

Mayweather is a picture perfect model for how to keep your body clean and healthy. His eating habits are even better than Roy Jones's, and we all know Roy had a tremendous diet plan and way on how to keep your body healthy, clean and fit.

But, honestly, if there was someone I would want the kids to talk to about life, the sport and an all around class act- it would have to be both Klit's.

    LOL....

    Freedom..... bro..... seriously??

Good one, though. You're a Wlad fan obviously.
So it's a bit like polling: In which ship would you rather cruise.... the Queen Mary? Or the Titanic?

Wlad is obviously a classy representative of boxing, given the scores of scumbags that populate the sport nowadays. Sometimes it seems like the "thuggier" the better. You can lump the personalities of the Broners, Rios, and Margaritos of the boxing world..... bundle them together.... take a huge dump on them..... and sink them in the deepest trench in the ocean. No great loss. Compared to that riff-raff..... Wlad is worlds apart. He's educated, to begin with. That alone sets him apart from the aforementioned slugs. He can put two or three coherent sentences together without sounding like a complete moron. Again... unlike the aforementioned examples.

That's not to say I like his boxing style, or his choice of opponents, for that matter.
But as for the thread question, it's a no-brainer.

Wlad is class as a person outside the ring. Inside he fights like a scared rabbit at times when he does not need to.

More people watch Wlad's fights than Floyd's. In Germany alone, he has about 9 million viewers for each fight, and about the same number in Ukraine.

    Dan Rafael @danrafaelespn
Klitschko-Leapai was a soldout arena about 3 weeks before the fight. And did 9M viewers on German network RTL.

    Dan Rafael @danrafaelespn
When Klitschko pulls those kind of numbers on German TV AND sells out arenas and stadiums why should he fight elsewhere?
