The fight itself was nothing more than a sparring session. Hell.... even Michael Buffer is probably embarrassed at having used his signature line on that fight.


But hey.... what about those ring entrances, huh? I mean, with nothing much to talk about regarding the fight itself, we're left with nothing but the memory of The Punching Bag with Gloves being called to the ring by his elder brother, using some sort of ceremonial Samoan conch shell. Cute. Then came the lasers..... and Wlad getting his past highlights video-imposed on his upper torso, creating some cool visual effects. Add some cool techno music and hey..... those Germans know how to put on a ring entrance show.


How do these shows compare in general with those seen in Vegas and other major U.S. boxing venues?

Cant for the life of me remember who he was fighting but Matthew Saad Muhammad came to the ring with the Hell's Angels once.

My favorite Tyson entrance was for the Spinks fight. No special effects or music...just that ominous sound echoing through the arena

The Klit entrances have been well choreographed and are very entertaining. Normal German ones are lame with 1980’s heavy rock ballads which are crap. I prefer Tyson type no music and just walk in, but he had the intimidation factor to carry that off.
