With Sturm fighting and defending the IBF belt on the 31st of this month and Martinez due to fight Cotto who should Golovkin fight?

geale and kessler seem to be more likely, both of which id be excited about watching

Geale is the best option for Golovkin. A known quantity, recent world champ at his own weight.

Its at the least a good treading water fight hopefully leading to a Martinez unification.

Although, why not Quillin? Thats a unification but is Quillin a big enough name to make the money worth the risk for Golovkin?

A Geale fight seems the most likely and yes I would like to see him fight Quillen, The Sturm/Soliman winner and Martinez. I think he is more than capable of beating all of them and it would be refreshing to see someone clean up a division and unify for a change. The chances of it happening with rival promoters, TV Stations and Politics is not very high though. I do not think Sturm or Quillen want to fight him and Sergio has to get past Cotto without picking up more injuries first and I can see that becoming a very messy fight.

Geale especially would be a good test, because he's just such a crafty, gutsy bastard. Least from the lil bit I've seen.


GGG would probably still beat him up, but who knows, Geale would have a shot.
