Default David Haye – undisputed cruiserweight champion?

Was he the undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world when he beat Mormeck in France?

I am sure Mormeck lost to Bell but beat him in a return and therefore was the best cruiserweight at the time?

Thank you for that clarification. Then why is it stated he was disputed cruiserweight champion at the time?

People can be critical of David Haye but he was a great cruiserweight, shame he didn't carry it onto heavyweight but I'm slightly glad considering his record of pulling out of fights and his actions leading up to the Wlad fight. At the moment I just hope he leaves the sport well alone and concentrate on his 'movie career'.

Probably because the IBF had stripped Bell I think and were setting up Wlodarczyk-Cunningham for the vacant belt Bell was inactive for 14 months before Mormeck beat him in the return

David Haye was never "undisputed" because avoided prime Steve Cunningham, the IBF champion.

Haye always chose opponents who would stand in front of him like Maccarinelli, and avoided those who had good lateral movement like Cunningham.

Disagree Bell held all three belts. Cunningham only held a paper title stripped from Bell
