    Default Geeez.... enough Tiger already!!!

What is it with ESPN and their eternal hardon for Tiger Woods?? He just got thrashed at the British Open..... he hasn't been relevant in years...... he's on a 19-major winless drought..... and these dopes STILL insist on making every tournament about him. Get over it already! Find another golfer whose manhood you can stroke.

I once wrote how even if Tiger were to pass Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 major championships, he'd never measure up to the Golden Bear, because Jack has more class in his little toe than Tiger has in his entire being. Thankfully.... Tiger's hit a slump of biblical proportions in the last few years.... and he's not getting any younger. I can only hope that the Rory McIIroys and the Bubba Watsons of the golfing world keep winning majors, and keep Tiger off Jack's pace.

Can't stand that arrogant prick. Now if only ESPN would get on with life after Tiger...... we'd all be better off.

I agree. It's pretty obvious the poster is taking a shots at Mr. Woods cuz he hates black people. And Mr. Woods just happens to be half black. The cyber blowjob he gave the white man Jack Nicklaus further supports that notion.

i think that the way Woods burst on the scene and proceeded to utterly dominate the game was awesome. It was like when Roger Federer first came through. He changed the way that golf was played, and also forever changed the way golf courses were actually designed. The image of the game, TV figures and endorsements went stratospheric. He was also a complete player who 'went mainstream' and transcended the sport.

The impact he made was like Pele, Michael Jordan, Usain Bolt and Muhammad Ali. The fact he was a 'black' guy in a pretty racist sport made it an even bigger story ..... Though of course, he isn't 'black', he's mixed race (like Barack Obama, who everyone also just calls black)

Unfortunately, while he played golf like a god, he was a human being like the rest of us and he fell badly into temptation and got publicly burnt for that. Lots of famous athletes and movie stars have done worse, but got nowhere near the excoriation. Good word, eh?. I don't doubt that the media made a bigger deal about it because he was shagging blond white women

He is on the slide now, like all golfers do at his age. Undoubtedly, he is arrogant and possibly driven and unpleasant .... Most great athletes need to be.

Look at Pele when he was on the slide, all the media covered him much more than his remaining skills and game contribution deserved. Same with the sad end to Tysons career.

You shouldn't be surprised at the coverage of him, it's about viewers and box office, nothing to do with how good he is at golf these days.

Couldn't see too much racism in the first post, I have to say?

I think the problem, the reason his wife hit him with a golf club, is that he was shagging everybody except that blond white woman.

I do not like Tiger, golf, courses and the whole institution. I would rather stab myself in the eyes with a fork that watch that so called sport.

Race is like ice cream, if you take 50% vanilla and 50% chocolate and stir it up, it's still chocolate ice cream.

that's a pretty ridiculous comment, Beanflicker, not like you.

Someone who is half Nigerian and half Norwegian is not mysteriously a Nigerian. They are mixed Nigerian/Norwegian.

Tiger Woods is not black. Black people don't think he is black. White people don't think he is white. Thai people don't think he is Thai.
