He became a big draw largely on account of being a scary mother in the first place, it's not as if it ruined his image I'm sure you could point to a handful of guys in the arts; music, film, theatre etc who have been convicted of similar crimes and kept being successful though. Roman Polanski kept making movies etc, off the top of my head. I'm sure there are lots of rappers you could list as well, but I liken most of that stuff to rape to begin with myself.

Ask yourself if anyone would honestly believe he wasn't capable of it? He was an extremely violent and unstable man with no respect for women. This. A lot of court analysts looking back in review of this consider this as a great miscarriage of justice on Tyson. He was a lot of things, did a lot of things... but he did not rape this woman.
