That's a huge insult to Arturo.

No. Gatti's signature was the comeback. I think a prime Katsidis came close. I also think Tommy "Boom Boom" Coyle has some similarities.

Just no, they are nothing alike. Gatti was very vulnerable but he did have solid skills, and was able to pull fights out with one punch, that's a lot of why he was in so many great fights I think. Rios is always in tear ups but he's never really come back to win a fight as was said, and he has no skills. He's perhaps been in one great fight which will be the highlight of his career almost certainly, the first with Alvarado, who actually has a lot more in common with Gatti to me. If Rios didn't have a great chin he'd be a complete bum imo, and he will be before long.

Watch Gatti's wins over Tracy Patterson. Rios could never box like that against an opponent of that caliber and even keep it close, let alone win. Gatti abandoned his formidable skills on favor of a more exciting style and adulation of the fans. Rios is just a limited, straight ahead banger with a good chin. They r both similar in that they have a never say for attitude, but Gatti, in my opinion, was a couple levels up from Rios and more versatile.

To be fair , I haven't seen that much of Rios, but to me, he just looks like a human punchbag! He doesn't give a lot back, whereas Gatti, although he sometimes looks like he's been in a car crash, does give it a go.

Do any of you really think that Rios would be beaten up like Gatti was vs. Ward 1, DeLaHoya and Mayweather??

Yes. And it's obviously yes. Are you just trying to pile up as much wrong as possible?

Beaten up by HOFs certainly has to trump being clearly out boxed by the likes of Mike Alvarado and Richard Abril.

Rios had his HOF in Manny. He came in ass out of shape and was carried late in one of his most passive showings
