Default Why are people impressed with floyd? (last fight)

Ok floyd barely beat a B+ class fighter in maidana his first fight and the second fight he beat him again, and it was not impressive at all imo. I mean wtf, yall he beat maidana.....Mai fucking dana. A walking brain fart with zero speed. Floyd didnt stagger or even hurt maidana.

PLease someone let me know why they are impressed with a win against a guy who has loses to normal fighters. I hope those boo's i heard during the fight are people realizing their hero is a punk bitch.

One thing floyd did do was get a good cardio workout.

    GOOD THINGS
He is undefeated, makes 30 million plus when he fights, has money, cars, houses, rubs elbows with the rich and famous, people listen to what he has to say (even when they think he's full of shit), he has a (dare I say it) stable of hot accomplished women, he is loyal and generous with family and friends, he is a boxing promoter with a good name, and probably has interests in several other businesses.

    BAD THINGS
He's undefeated (lol), he makes 30 million plus when he fights (lol), he doesn't fight the way I think he should, and he has a problem with his lady friends once in a while.

    LAST FIGHT
Floyd always figures out a way to win, he always wins.
Look, I'm not a big Floyd fan, but if can't figure out a few things to admire about him you need to open eyes and your mind, sir.

I understand he is good, but he has done nothing impressive his last few fights. too me i see, lots of runnning, handpicked fights, and him not hurting anyone. his last 8 fights have been against people he had a 100% chance of winning.....cause he picked em

What stood out to me the most out of the fight was when Maidana ducked Floyds lead right and countered with an overhand hitting Floyd flush at the end of round 3. He had Floyd hurt there and it looks like Floyd is looking more and more beatable. In an interview with a Spanish channel after the fight he said he no longer had a passion for the sport but that it was more of a job to him

well are you asking if we were impressed compared to what we have come to expect of floyd? because that would be a no. floyd definitely looked a little off during the fight and he even admitted it afterwards. maidana is a good fighter but not great. it was a good win and he won convincingly. i dont think that most people are super impressed with this win. i think that it was a good win with a fighter that he would have beaten a lot easier 5 years ago.

I agree, He was wobbly as shit after that punch landed. I watched it a few times. Maidana shouldve rushed him during the next round, cause floyd was woozy.

If its a job to him now, he laying thast ground work to have an excuse if he looses

I think he almost got caught with the same one a couple of times in the first fight too. We'll see in the next fight if it was age or his weariness of Maidana's style. Or a bit of both. He looked damaged after both fights anyway.

Said it before and will say it again, this practice is corrupt. I hope he gets his last two fights and retires...

I don't wish to see him back in the sport. He has done enough. Only wish to see him back in the sport under different terms- terms that dictates who he fights and where.

Floyd at this time is doing more harm to the sport than good. He simply is exploiting the corrupt pockets of the sport and turning them into victories for himself.
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!
