Thats bullshit, he just said what going on in every backyard of a fighter, Smoking pot and box without any round time![]()
Makes sense to me. Mayweather owns the gym and he's having guys spar nonstop until someone quits or gets knocked out, so he is facilitating a very dangerous and reckless activity. Not what you want to see from someone you're about to hand a promoter's license to.
Floyd is great in the ring but outside the ring he is a dumb thug and will eventually blow his fortune and/or end up back in jail.
All of this is shit.... Floyd made some reckless statements about the Commission leading up to the second Maidana fight. Some really reckless statements and spurious accusations about he Commission. I knew IT was coming...

I'm sure it will be easy for Floyd to blow this one off with the board and boil it down to nothing more than promotional dress up for the show but I'm glad they are calling him in. I see a number of people saying they think Floyd will end up broke and busted in the end. At first I laughed off that idea. Floyd will always be known as a great boxer but he is going to lose some of the limelight post retirement. I'm sure he will want or expect everything he does post boxing to be just as successful as when he was in the ring but he will be facing a different kind of opposition.
If Floyd does not get the attention and or success he expects, you guys could very well be right. I don't wish jail or being broke on anyone.

I didn't watch much of the all access stuff for either Maidana fight, but if that sparring stuff is true then it's fair enough they'd want to talk with him about it. Other people smoking pot around an athlete of any sort, or the athlete themselves doing it, is a non issue and shouldn't even be humored imo. From what I gather the Nevada commission is the most reputable of any in North America, but they obviously still bow to certain interests when it comes down to revenues. If Floyd will have to hand over a decent % to them as a promoter, I'm sure they will be pretty lenient regardless of what he was doing.
This happens all over. I know for a fact he gets this practice from his childhood gym. What is the NAC going to police training now when they can't even put on a decent testing program? This is a dog and pony show because Floyd bad mouthed them. If they want to make rules about training and watch everyone, fine. But going after Floyd because he insulted them is typical boxing horseshit. Finding a lick of truth in this sport is near impossible.
Why would Showtime show them smoking pot? Isn't it illegal in Nevada?

Why would it matter, it wasn't boxers smoking pot. It was pretty f'n obvious Floyd has never done it and those girls smoking around him was obviously new too(for cameras) because he didn't even know where to get papers haha
Every gas station, liquor store, convenience store in America has them but Floyd didn't know. Those people aren't smoking regularly.
Yeah NSAC is a fucking joke for sure, but I think they have a point because what he was putting on was more like exhibitions instead of training and to go unlimited until someone quits or gets knocked out is pretty barbaric, I know it's common place in boxing gyms to do crazy shit like that but it's not good to show it.
It shows you how stupid Floyd is as a person because he is the exec producer of those fucking All Access 24-7 shows so he gets to say what goes into them and what doesn't, it's not like they filmed it and used it against his wishes, so he fucked himself by being stupid.
I think it's more about the image Floyd is projecting.
Who knows, maybe they will try to discipline him or at least convince him to think before he acts or starts talking.
The Commission has been good to Floyd over the years so if Floyd thinks he is now bigger than the Commission maybe they want set him straight.
I'm not a big fan of Floyd's but I hope he doesn't self destruct.
I have seen the sparring session, to me there were two boxers in that ring trying to impress
Floyd, and in all honest a lot of fighters would have done the same thing.
The chance to show how tough and fit and what skills they have, in front of the P4P best boxer
out there, hell the amount of tough sparring I have seen in gyms.
Yes Floyd will take some stick, but what can the Commission do.?
