It's a bullshit fight, but Eubank v Saunders on the undercard makes it worth tuning in.

Agreed, it wasn't a fight worth rescheduling imo. The first one was in no way controversial or close, nor was it any good. I'd like to see either guy vs some other opponents, just not each other again.

    Irony thread.

I'd happily pay a brown'un to watch Eubank-BJS, so the big lumps are a good bonus at the least

    LOL.

I remember the era when we used to get excited about Funso Banjo and Noel Quarless. And pairing the likes of Davey Pearce and Neville Meade made a 'top' domestic fight...

The first Fury/Chisora fight shouldn't have happened... jmo... they could have waited until now to have that first fight.

I agree, bit of a lucklustre fight but about as good as either can get because they are too risky a fight for others on the verge of title challenges.

I have bitten the bullet and paid £110 for a ticket for near the back of the floor seats. Hopefully I can actually see something! Going with my brother. The clincher was the Eubank Jr fight. Ill be seriously pissed off if that doesnt happen.

The way im looking at it is when will you ever have a show in England that has 3 genuine world class heavies (Fury, Chisora and Chambers), an awesome grudge match that will feature, what I think will be the emergence of a massive boxing star in Eubank Jr and also the progression of Hughie Fury. Not a bad bill at all but the Eubank Jr fight is the only reason I bought the tickets.

Fury beat Chisora and it wasnt close.

Fury v Chisora = the black and white clown show , but at least it will be funny.

    Christ,

Strike me down I'm agreeing with Ross again!

In my opinion the Eubank Saunders fight will sell the most tickets to boxing fans.

I see Eubank, and for the moment Joshua, as our two most exciting prospects.

Don't know about Hughie....... Or Louey or Dewey.

Needless to say Jeff Powell got half a page in the Mail today on Tyson versus Chis, not a mention of the undercard!!!!

Jeff Powell just prints what promoters and favoured football managers tell him, in return for them feeding and watering him indefinitely.

I think the fact that there are still threads on here talking about the fight suggests that there might well be a fight that people are interested in. There's more threads about this fight than about Paul Smith challenging for a world title fight in Germany this weekend...so ultimately I think that tells its own story.

Eddie Chambers lost back to back fights , the his last 3 opponents have a combined record of - 24 wins - 91 losses -10 draws , only one of which had a winning record and he had 10 wins - 7 losses.
His next opponent is 2 wins - 5 losses in his last 7.
Well I do not think that is world class at all , the only reason you think he is world class , is because fury trains him.
He is a good journeyman / fringe contender at best.

The reason. I think Chambers is world class is because he is. If Arreola and stiverne who have lost to worse men than chambers can challenge for a world title so can Chambers.

He moved down to cruiser when he isn't a cruiser and basically malnourished himself to do so. Compare his body then to now. He lost as much muscle as fat to get down there. He's now comfortable and strong in the mid 220lb range. He gave Wlad his most awkward fight until poor training and preparation caught up with him. His fight with Wlad was far more competitive than Hayes none effort. He's treading water until they can find a name who wants to risk their ranking against him.

Being in a training camp with huge men like Hughie and Tyson will help him.
