I don't understand why this fight was made, maybe Lara pissed someone off? Ishe Smith never gets stopped, is never in even reasonable fights and will probably apply no pressure letting Lara go through the motions. Hope I'm wrong, but it's about as pleasing a stylistic matchup on paper as Tarver-Banks was last night.

Whew. This will be a tough one. The watching it not the actual fight . It is seriously a pain in the brain watching Smith handed multiple title shots and two guys named Charlo get pulled out of them..each. Well lets hope for a good fight, and I hope we get Lara with a chip on his shoulder and punching between Smiths pose ups and drying of his eyes.

When I read your post I was thinking the opposite, who did Smith piss off?
Lara is a tough task for anyone and I've never had a real high opinion of Smith. To win against Lara you need great speed and skills that Smith will never have. It would help to have a judge or two in your pocket too. Lol
I understand he gets a good payday, but unless it was a huge payday (like against Mayweather), I'd rather fight someone I had a chance against.
It's like they're keeping Lara busy/pacified until another huge fight can be made. Could Smith be the Lamb?
