~ New Opponent Selected for Smokin' Joe ~
A new opponent has been selected for Joe Frazier's proposed comeback bout for February,
and slated for The Spectrum in Philadelphia.
'Irish' Pat Duncan has stated that he would fill in for Mac Foster who has 'opted' out.
Duncan, a 27 year-old scrappy 6' 1" and 203 lb. puncher/boxer from the Northwest
Pacific Region would be a suitable opponent.
Duncan with a record of 34-9-3 {24 KO's} has a reputation as a tough fighter, and is
currently ranked as the #9 United States Heavyweight.
'Irish Pat' last fought 5-Months ago, on August 26, 1975 - where he was stopped {L KO 8}
by 'undefeated' Duane Bobick.

"I can give Joe the tough bout that he is looking for. But, he better come in prepared, or
he'll find out the hard way, that I'm no easy mark."
