A fight between Cassius Clay and me would have been a 'Horror Show'.

If the Ring was a 20' square, the bout would have been horrible, as our styles would
have neutralized each other.

With Cassius boxing and moving, there would have been little action. Boxing and jabbing
is not my style, and if we had fought, the Arena would have emptied out half-way thru
our bout due to the lack of exchanges.

Sometimes you just have to admit, that certain opponents would have been a bad mix, and
Cassius and I were not styled for action against each other.

Actually no Mr. Brit,

Rocky did make that statement during a 1966 interview after watching Cassius
score a rough 15-Round Decision win over George Chuvalo.

@Master you are wrong bro Archie Moore Joe Walcottr and ezzard Charles all said they were much more concerned about Rockies devastating left hook rather then his straight right hand which they felt was was overrated. It was his vicious left hook that annihilated Harry kid Matthews in the 4th round and nearly decapitated him. It was also he's vicious left hook which destroyed Joe Lewis. It was his left hook that finally knocked out Archie Moore not his straight right hand. And it was his left hook that put Don cockle down something that he could not do with his right hand. I don't know what you're smoking over there in Wolverhampton but whatever it is send some over here to me haha

Both Marciano and Frazier had enough power to knock out early Clay, if they could catch him flush.

The fully grown 70s Ali could have taken Marciano's shots same as Frazier's.

Marciano never fought let alone beat an opponent anywhere near as good as Clay! Yet Ali in his career managed to overcome some opposition that would knock Rocky simply straight out. This should be considered.

The problem Marciano would've had against Ali would be 'Cuts', Ali would cut fighters up. I think the Frazier/Marciano comparison gives leeway to thinking Rocky might've got some shots in, but his strength was the right hand and the only two times Ali was seriously hurt was when he got caught flush by "Enry's 'Ammer" and when Smokin' Joe caught him in the first fight in round 15. Both LEFT hooks!
