Default Froch does want Ward in UK showdown and dares him to cross the pond

Froch says there's no way he's giving up his WBA belt and has dared Ward to come and fight him in England.

    Did not expect this.....

He told reporters: "I fought him in the US. Now it's only right that he comes over here. To be a truly great champion you have to box overseas. Ward needs to be forced to travel out of his comfort zone.

"I dare him. He will discover that I'm a very different animal here than I was that night on the Boardwalk."

It's a fight I wouldn't mind seeing and with Wards inactivity, I can see Froch doing better this time out.

froch shouldnt give anything in the negotiations

no ones heard of ward for the last 2 years, why should he then get a title shot against the main man where he wants it

and its not as if ward will draw the crowds in america

if the fight isnt under frochs terms then there shouldnt be a fight

And that's exactly what Froch is thinking and he knows this ain't gonna happen. Froch has already said he won't fight Ward again and if he did, he would probably lose, and Ward has also said he probably wouldn't fight in the UK, worrying about a hometown decision (His words).
I hear all you are saying about Ward and agree to a certain extent. the Problem is Froch is the WBA Regular Champion and Ward is the WBA Super champion.
it's all bollocks , but here's an example: Gary Jacobs is WBA Regular Champ at MW , Golovkin is WBA Super champ. Would Gary Jacobs get the fight on his terms?
    the fight won't happen.

Gary Jacobs is the middleweight champ? Some comeback he's made then.

He should come over, Muhammad Ali defend his title on the road countless times. Loads of great champions have. Ward knows he's in for it if he came here.

"Danny" Jacobs. And he is the "regular" WBA champ, just as Eubank is the "interim" WBA champ at Middleweight.

I love how you all think actually winning a fight is irrelevant haha

It's whatever, I hope Ward does go over there. He will beat Froch more convincingly than the first time. Froch is on the downhill. And immediately Ward is on top of the sport again.(he never was not on top but fans will know again)

Another attempt at Vegas? We dare him to come to Wembley and maybe he'll say Vegas.

This wouldn't even half full Wembley as no one the UK knows who Ward is, Froch wants it at Nottigham forests football ground which is a khazi that holds about 25,000 as its his hometown

I reckon this would easily sell out wembley with the right undercard

if it was sold as Carls official last fight then maybe but is there even 90,000 people living in Nottingham?

If it's on ITV then people would watch for free at home anyway

I can't see Ward coming to England and I can't see Froch going to America and I can't see their relative promoters coming up with a deal before it goes to purse bids. So what happens if it does go to purse bids? Obviously it's worth more in Britain than it is in America so Hearn should win the bid. But what happens then? Can't see Ward coming to England.
