Actually the other 2 - Hammond and May are refusing to film anymore Top Gear episodes unless Clarkson is reinstated!

Don't see how the show would work without him as well but in any other job if you punch your boss your out the door.

Clarkson is the boss. Producers are ten a penny. This "producer" was a gopher who couldn't even get a so called luxury hotel to produce a hot meal at 10pm. They should have just shook hands afterwards and forgot about it. Instead of doing that they've managed to create an incident which might fuck both their careers up.

    Clarkson is a joke.
Imagine if your son or daughter were hit by their boss..are they expected to keep their job?

Different when the shoe is on the other foot..long overdue.

Imp your spot on Jeremy the lord of the BBC, I was thinking because he makes the BBC 150 million
pounds a year, he was going to get away with it.
To be honest Jeremy treating people like shit, hitting one of his employees he is lucky the guy was
not a nasty type, there again Jeremy no's who to pick on.
Clarkson is you typical brat, lording over people a piss taker with his 2 lapdogs in tow, very high brow
is top gear, Jeremy going around acting like judge Dread , a over posh prat.

Exactly. It shouldnt be news. Clarkson is out of control and it is good he is gone. Now just the entire BBC to go.

All 3 of the presenters are rumoured to be taking the show to Sky tv but calling it "Top Speed" - exactly the same format etc.

Looks like it's the BBC who will suffer the most as Top Gear is officially the most watched tv show on the planet.

Clarkson will go on to be even more successful than he has been. The BBC lose their biggest show and money earner and the only non liberal lefty show they have, making them an even bigger target for the people who want to shut them down. A bunch of utter fucking idiots from the idiot who complained about a little punch and the idiot who was desperate to sack Clarkson. They've made Clarkson look good by comparison.

It'a a pretty sad state of affairs when a fucking TV presenter, causes more fuss than 160
people getting killed by a lunatic.
Come on people lets put things into perspective, Clarkson is hardly worth talking about and
some idiot make a death threat, because he gets the push what a bunch of A holes.

Clarkson is far more relevant to British people than a bunch of foreigners and one or two Brits getting ploughed into a mountainside by some nutter. He's a cultural touchstone for millions of people. I watched the Argentina Top Gear show on holiday with about a hundred ex-pats in a bar. It was on a big screen like a football game. When the FKL 928 came on the screen the whole place went mental. Everybody up on the tables, singing and dancing, guys spraying champagne like they'd won a Grand Prix. They had to rewind the show and start it again and when the car came on for the second time the whole place went up again even longer than the first time. It was one of the highlights of the holiday.
