Default Floyd is talking retirement! 48, 49, 50 and done! If he wins these last three.

Floyd has to win these last three fights to get that record of course.
Manny will be #48, but who will be the 49th and #50?
Khan is probably starting to sweat bullets, his chances for the big jackpot dwindling as Floyd's retirement approaches.😥
What's your best guess? Two more after Manny, will Khan be one of them? I'm starting to wonder if maybe Floyd likes to see Khan squirm.

im not sure who the next two will be. the problem is that after pac, nothing else will seem very relevant. there cant really be anymore excuses about ducking anybody and he will have already cemented his legacy. garcia and thurman could be good potential fights. both undefeated young fighters that will have the typical "whose 0 will go" tagline. and the whole saavy veteran against hungry youngster. i just think that its all downhill from here because nothing will be anywhere close to this fight with pac.

No it won't compare. You are absolutely right. If Manny wins then Floyd gets to retire early lol

If manny wins floyd gets more money from the rematch and potential rubber than if he beats manny and fights his random 49th n 50th opponents.

Manny rematch then an easy one for the 50-0

Probably a rematch with manny as long as he don't beat him too easy then maybe Garcia if he can stay undefeated would be a very easy 50th fight and is a semi decent name.

Floyd does not care about the money, he wants that 50-0 behind his name in the record books. He has plenty of money coming in. Losing one of these last three fights would probably be voted the sporting disaster of the year.

His contract runs out next fight but you would think that he will have the 50th fight to try and beat Marcianos record. But he did say hes fallen out of love with boxing and he just sees it as a job. So he might not even be bothered about beating Marcianos record. Or it could be a ploy so he can make more PPV money if he does have the final 50th farewell fight.

he will never tie or break Marciano's record. He is going to insult Marciano just like Larry Holmes did and then he's going to get the curse of Marciano the curse of the Marciano and he will not win

Well depending on how the Pac fight unfolds, we could definitely see Floyd double dip and rematch Pac if the fight is close or somehow controversial like the Maidana one.

Floyd will FOR SURE go for Cotto's middleweight belt. Cotto is a very winnable opponent (I guess that's fair to say since Floyd has already won vs him) and he gets to say he was the LINEAR middleweight champ, not just the holder of some meaningless trinket.

After that, I could see him going after Danny Garcia or Amir Khan. Maybe even a Canelo rematch.

I dont like this talk of Mayweather continuing. He is supposed to be destroyed here. That narrative must be maintained. I want romance and glory!

Ah, little dove, you are looking for romance in the wrong place. There is only glory and crushed egos here, it's a desolate place.
Fly, fly away romantic heart and good luck. Lol
