    Default Bowe vs Holyfield II

I just watched this again, Bowe absolutely did not lose this fight. The no doubt Bowe won rounds were 1,2,3,9,10,12. That's a draw right there but an argument can be made for Other rounds.

I don't like Bowe but I also don't like seeing a man lose his title without actually losing.

I think I had it 7-5 for Bowe, but I haven't watched it in years so I'd have to go back and re-score it to be sure. But yeah, I thought it was extremely close either way and not a very convincing win for Evander at all. Bowe got him back with that brutal KO in the 3rd fight though.

It always seemed as if Holyfield has gotten more praise from their trilogy than Bowe even though Riddick won 2 of those fights convincingly.

Bowe was winning until fan man came. Holyfield picked up the pace and got the decision. Fan man helped him.

On live watch had it 115-113 Holyfield. Bowe should have spent less time thinking about putting refrigerators in his bedroom. I'm on the other side and thought idiot fan man 'helped' Bowe get second wind after Holyfield took 4,5,6 having Bowe cut and wobbled in 5th. Bowe found his jab start of 7th though, and then the fool from above. Didn't that guy end up committing suicide? Man I miss Mills Lane!

Please explain how you stole one from 1,2,3, 9, 10 or 12 from Bowe. I'd really like to know because I don't see any of them as even debatable.

As for who the fan man helped, tough to say. Bowe was winning the 7th big when the fan man came and I ended up giving it to Holy and the 8th. So I'd say it favored Holy. Sooner or later Bowe was bound to get back to his jab and take control back which he did in the 9th.

Yes Fan man got battered by Bowe's mates and later committed suicide.

Bowe has been involved in a lot of chaos:

    1. Fanman
    2. Catching Larry Donald with the two-piece at the podium
    3. Getting punched in the nuts against Golota
    4. Post fight riot @ MSG
    5. Getting punched in the nuts again against Golota
    6. Joining the Marines
    7. Leaving the Marines (after a few days I believe)
    8. Kidnapping his wife.

    ..................just naming a few things

So which did you steal from Bowe? It's a waste of time asking because it must be round 10. 1,2, 3, 9, and 12 are just too f'n obvious. Will you please explain HTF you gave Holy round 10?

from memory I think I may have Bowe winning but the perception was he was lazy and compared to the first fight he was not as dominate with that jab. Holyfield also had a nice rhythm with the combination after the delay and won most of the rounds.

Had some time to dig up old cards this weekend. Looks like I had Bowe in 2,3,4,9,12 and Holyfield winning 1,5,6,7,8,10,11. I rewatched up until the fan man and actually could easily swap 1 and 4 between the two. On 10 I saw Holyfield and Bowe in about 7,8 nice exchanges of left hook to right hand. Holyfield with shorter crisper inside hooks and Bowe missed a few rather badly. The jab of Bowe was falling short and missing though physically he was the aggressor and did land a few body shots. Holyfield put the pressure on and really nailed him near the end. The fight in whole looked Bowe with the heavier but swatty shots, he was lethargic on large part...Holyfield was busier and landed the more jarring shots.
