It seems Insurance payments have been made, to the girl that had her leg amputated 7 million
£ is a lot of money, but I bet she would rather have her leg.
Shit that was a nasty , a fun ride turns into a nightmare poor kids they were late teens I no but
still kids in my eyes.

Miles I can see your point, the money will be a great help but a young women losing her leg,!!! you
are right about labour being laughed at, if she looks after her money she is set for life.
One thing is goes to show, no mater how many safety checks things can go wrong, those rides give
people a lot of fun, but when they go wrong shit they were stuck on that ride for 4 hours.

Yes, you are completely right. My post above was a bit strange and was just me thinking 'That's a lot of money'. She could have died and there is no money in that! No, it is very serious.

Alton Towers have handled the situation better than Thomas Cook did. There PR team did it all right by apologising straight away, telling the injured to get legal help and providing support to those effected.

Alton Towers did act in a good manner, they apologized which many large companies don't seem to
do, I feel theses roller coasters have a pretty good safety record ,! as theses accidents seem few
and far between.
Nothing is 100% safe that is designed, to thrill like theses rides to be honest I shit myself when I
HAVE BEEN ON THEM.
