Jersey Joe Walcott
Would never fall prey to Cassius Clay's game and tactics.
This would be a 'Cat-and-Mouse', and tremendously boring boxing match.
A frustrated Cassius wouldn't be able to do too much here, other than
landing his long-range left-jabs.
If 'Young Cassius' fights like he did against Karl Mildenberger, he'd be picking
himself off the canvas a 'few times', after eating countering punches and leads.
This one goes down to the wire, with ...... ... ....... winning by 1-Point.

Good fight. A close fight. Probably would look a lot like Toney vs Nunn +/- the stoppage.

Would be picking off the left-jabs with ease.
And he would easily side-step those 'weak' right-hand leads.
By the way, Cassius 'loved' to eat left-hooks.

Oh, I couldn't match Cassius in speed, but that wouldn't be a problem in the
later Rounds.
He would have to come in sometime, and that is where I would counter-punch
him with my left-hook.
He liked it when fighters would move forward and chase or follow him. Not me,
I would just lay back and wait to pounce like a 'spring-loaded' Cat.
I'm sure he would be circling and dancing, trying to bait me into moving forward.
But I would pull a 'reverse' and move away from him, and wave him in.
That would get the crowd against him.
