I must say I'm pleased at the moment keeping in mind things can change. About a month ago I applied for a new position at the company I work for. It has been a very stressful time as I was up against some competition and it is technical position in which I probably just barely qualify qualify for but things worked out and I was offered the position. The supervisor was actually worried I wouldn't accept it as despite my desire for the job I played it cool and only asked him once if he had hired anyone. He was watching my performance for a couple weeks and I would just ignore him. I'm hesitant to post things like this as life is a funny old dog and things come and go but screw it, I don't need to tell you if it doesn't work out.
