    Default R.I.P. IamInuit

IamInuit was a great friend of mine, his name was Kevin. He was a founding member or TTR where we will be celebrating his friendship with us. I know he started to moderate here also so just wanted to let you know Kev left this earth last week. I am broken and sadden by this... but felt i had to warn everyone.

You can take the time to celebrate his existence and share your memories about him here:
    http://tinyurl.com/jrcvok6

the 13 th round . com

It will then be part of a HOF hommage section we have for our 2 admins who have died during our decade of existence on TTR.

Any thoughts or anecdotes would be appreciated!

    thanks

    Hi mate

He had posted on the moderators board about his health so a few people here were aware of his struggle.

My condolences to you and all that knew him. He was one of the good guys and will be sadly missed.

    Matt.

A very knowledgeable poster and important cog in this forum. I am sorry to hear this.

I'd like to echo these sentiments. I enjoyed reading his posts and taking with him.

Also, did he ever post as Bilbo? Was that a different Kev?

    Either way, RIP Sir.

That is so very sad. My thoughts are with you and all his friends and family at this time.

He was a breath of fresh air here, a real old school fight fan with a unique turn of phrase and the patience of a saint. His trailcam pictures of Bears and Lynx were literally gob smacking as was his reports of minus 52 degree weather where he lived.

In the PM's that he sent me I got the impression that he lived somewhere very remote and was very at home with his own company and of course the dogs that he loved. He was as at home talking about philosophy and politics as he was discussing the history of boxing and the fights that are woven into it's rich tapestry. His http://www.saddoboxing.com/boxingfor...look-back.html is a lesson in thread construction and maintenance. It demonstrated much more than his own encyclopedic knowledge of boxing, it provided an opportunity to draw out fantastic memories of historic fights from other posters and reminded us all of fighters that we had forgotten about.

He was a fantastic moderator, a true gentleman and someone who I am very proud to have been able to call a friend. He was very consoling to me when things were rough and I will miss his posts and presence here in this place that we all love.

Thank you for gracing us with your presence and may God rest your soul, comfort your family and keep you alive in our hearts.

I never really knew about him outside this site but I have to say this I caught myself reading his posts three or four times before moving on and you can always tell when sincerity is the number one attribute in a person. I hope that wherever he is he should remember that if a man is good you need not know his name, only that you knew of him and the enjoyment of his thoughts that count. I still don't believe it but keep doing what you're doing in God's Mansion. Rest in peace.

This really does kick you right in the chest. Truly a class down to earth man who loved the land, loved his dogs and had a massive passion and hard fans knowledge of this sport. No idea it was close and stunned. We do loss sight of the man or women behind the keyboard at times. Not posters, punchlines or profile names. But people who have shining peaks and valleys of hardship going on in real time that few of us know of and few share. We laugh at it or with it, cut up or go at each other on here but shit man just take care of yourself and loved ones after the log out. Saying a prayer for Kevin's family tonight and thankful for him sharing some of his huge life experience. We're better for it. Be at peace brother.

This is very sad. I never knew anything about Kevin as with the rest of you guys, but it's strange how you can still feel upset about one of our family dying. RIP Iaminuit, God bless. xxx
