The European, especially the British, boy bands were huge hits here in the Philippines during the 80's so lots of folks here my age 40-60's are saddened by his demise. His Careless Whisper is a great classic here and you can still hear it on the local radio once in awhile.

Doesn't Aids cause excessive weight loss in most people? if you have seen the last taken photo's of old Georgie he was anything but slim.
