I'm looking forward to this as well, I think I was about 17 when I read the book (it was called Porno, the cover was the face of a sex doll, I used to feel like a right freak reading it on the bus)

I always thought it was better than trainspotting but I can't remember a fat lot about it at all now, I am slightly worried that it just won't have the same magic as the first film although if they aer staying true to the book then the 20 year wait was a necessity.

Sickboy was a freak of nature and could kick the drugs and pick them back up whenever he felt like it so its doubtful he would have gone ''full junky''
Begbie was a piss head and never took the smack

It was a crazy film and made me realise for the first time how screwed up druggies really are and that no one can help them unless they wanted to help themselves.

Did not like the baby walking on the ceiling scene.

Same here great movie but I can't watch it again due to the baby scene
