Default still good with Loma/Salido II?

Wonder if more people are against it seeing Salido look absolute crap yesterday. Fat, out of shape, getting dropped by a journeyman.

Or do people just not care how bad this matchup is?

Salido does this. He fights down and up to his competition. He will likely lose against lomachenko, but it is a loss that lomachenko needs to avenge. I quite like Salido myself. Was rooting for him in that first fight.

Would it be just on a history level, I think that down the stretch, it would be relevant if this fight happens.

If Salido is still winning then it is worth Loma to avenge his loss. Pride and legacy is important for a boxer and he should get it.

Had Loma not immediately beat Russell, then Walters and Martinez I'd be clamoring for it. Loma has basically passed him by at this point to be honest. If Loma and his people can do no better than a Sosa for next fight than sure Salido makes sense but Salido is better suited and fan friendly in his barn burner off the canvas wars and I don't think he gets the chance to take it there with Loma.

I didn't see last nights fight. Salido is tough but is getting up there in age. Not only is Loma better, but salido is worse. I don't hate the fight but I'm pretty neutral about it. Wouldn't be mad either way.
