Maybe a combination of all three. It is very good for the cameras, but there really hasn't been an actual war going on for decades and the reality is the West is much more interested in North Korea than anyone out here. It's a way for both leaders to smile for the cameras and have a feel good moment, but what it means is anyone's guess. My own hunch is that it will lead to factories and infrastructure being built in the North and that way cheap labor will be exploited and the developers who have massively overbuilt here have something to do there, but for ordinary people here I don't think it means all that much. Things will be much the same. It will likely mean less immigrants needed to work in factories, but otherwise things will roll on much the same. I think it is very similar to the 1990's the last time a left wing government was in and it could go well, but it could go pear shaped within a decade too. I also heard NK pretty much collapsed the mountain they were testing nukes in. They likely know they have no way of developing that further without risking serious catastrophe.
I think that it will be more similar to what happened to the 2 Germanies in 1989 ---- the North will need and drain all of the South's resources and after 15 years it will all recover economically and be one country, a slow integration like East and West Germany.
That was good how they crossed borders holding hands. There could be peace.
Watch Trump take credit for it.
