Default whatever happened to Panchito Bojado?

I tell you I was really up on this kid. His skill was undeniable. I had not seen anyone that technically sound since well Ricardo Lopez. Not to say that he was another Lopez but the kid had REAL talent. I was really looking forward to his career.

That just goes to show that being physically talented is not the only thing. You need will and discipline. I guess he had neither. When was the last time he fought?

a quick look at boxrec.com showed that he last fought in 2004 and lost to Jesse James Leija.

damn......no will...no heart...Leija was about 38 at the time. wow

what a waste of talent. He could have been a great one

Yeah I also thought he was a pretty good up and coming prospect. Kinda the same thing with David Ried.

I think what separates the champs from the rest is the indomitable will to win.

Regardless whether they win or lose the fight, the champs never stop trying. Panchito seems that he could not take it when someone fought back.

I thought the kid have crazy abilitiy though, I remember watching a few of his fights and you could just hear the punches landing, he seemed really strong.

he is and he was quick too. Quickest Mexican fighter I have seen at that weight class. damn shame. Word was that he like to party too much and he did not train seriously.

His trainer was Mayweathers Sr. but Mayweather had no time because he was focusing alot on DLH at the time. His last fight with Leija he actually bought in Buddy McGirt because Mayweather Sr. could not make it to the fight. Maybe the camp distraction threw him off.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Why must we talk about these things
Please don't make say these things again
OK....I heard thru a grape vine when I was at one of his fights (from another boxer Ex-World Champ to be exact) I will not give out the name but that Panchito was as someone pointed out not fully dedicated and felt he was already on top of the world and that it was gonna come easy for him (due to the talks about him during that time) I was also told on a different occasion that his manager had to track him down 2 days prior to a fight from a club here in Los Angeles. Now wether any of this is true I don't know for sure but what is true is that everything that happend in his career after I heard those things would lead you to believe it's true.

I've seen him in Pico Rivera a small suburb in the outskirts of Los Angeles which is where I think he lives or owns a home, He comes from a a great family background I just feel that all the talks and press got to him and he didn't deal with it the right way.

I've talked to his ex-manager and he sadi he didn't know anything on him or if he was coming back..this was months ago....

I'm gonna need a minute now
